dupe Archives – KEEPING UP WITH THE KETODASHIANS

We didn’t choose the Nugg Life, the Nugg Life chose us. These are very similar to Tyson brand frozen chicken nuggets.

You can easily make these ahead of time and freeze them. They can also be air fried as well.

  • Mix 1 lb of ground chicken with a tsp of onion salt, garlic powder, cracked black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  • Portion out balls (smaller than a golf ball)
  • Flatten the balls and dredge them in unflavored whey isolate protein powder, egg wash, and then pork crumbs.
  • Repeat until all the chicken portions are coated.
  • In a medium heat pan with oil, fry each side of the chicken nuggets until golden brown or fully cooked (about 3 mins each side).

Keto Bantam Bagel Dupe (#twinning)👯‍♀️this is a cream cheese stuffed bagel! I used to get these all the time during my non-keto Starbucks runs. These are super easy to make and even easier to make different variations with flavors and seasonings. If you already have a favorite fathead bagel recipe or keto bagel recipe, feel free to use that and follow this method.

  • 2 Cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Cup Plain cream cheese
  • 1 Cup Almond flour
  • 2 Tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Egg Whisked
  • everything but the bagel seasoning
  • Melt the mozzarella cheese and 2 tablespoons of cream cheese in the microwave. This should take 1:30-2:00 minutes, depending on your microwave. Mix the cheeses.
  • Add the egg to the cheese mixture and mix.
  • Add the almond flour and baking powder and thoroughly mix. This works in a mixer or you can knead the dough with your hands, just make sure your hands are wet – it’s easier to work with the dough.
  • Divide the mixture into 4-6 pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  • Flatten each individual ball and then place a teaspoon of plain cream cheese in the middle.
  • Fold the dough around the ball and roll it into the cream cheese is fully enclosed with dough.
  • Repeat with the remaining dough and cream cheese.
  • Sprinkle Everything but the Bagel Seasoning over the top of the stuffed dough balls.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees until the stuffed bagels are a golden brown color.

Tis the season….are we right? Aside from the Coronavirus, it legitimately feels like everyone around us is catching some type of bug. Back in the day when we’d be going through something, the Starbucks Medicine Ball drink would swoop in to help sooth our throats and help us recover from whatever we were going through. There is not actual medicine in this drink, but good ingredients that hopefully aid in your recovery from your cold. *reminder, we are not health professional – please work with your primary caretaker if you have any health related questions.

Perfect for when you’re feeling under weather, but not actual medicine.

This one’s a crowd favorite any time we whip it out from the archives. It’s so incredibly easy and makes you forget that you’re living a low carb lifestyle.

You won’t be able to tell the difference

  • Whisk the eggs with milk and a tsp of salt. Throw the chicken into the liquid mix.
  • Heat oil to 375 degrees. In a separate bowl, mix pork crumbs, powdered sweetener, garlic powder, onion powder, 2 tsp salt, white pepper, cayenne pepper, and unflavored whey isolate protein powder.
  • Take the chicken out of the egg mixture, making sure to not have any excess egg. Lightly toss the chicken in the coating mixture and drop one by one into the hot oil for 3-4 minutes.
